70 Takaya volunteers were assassinated
Al-Baraa Brigades and Army personnel commit a massacre in “Al-Halfaya”
A force from the Sudanese Army, supported by elements from Al-Baraa Brigades, carried out a massacre against the citizens of Al-Halfaya, north of Bahri, by publicly assassinating (70) young volunteers in “Takaya” and humanitarian work, as well as others in front of their families amidst public astonishment and anger at the terrorist crime committed by the extremist groups.
A group from Al-Baraa Brigades and Army personnel opened fire on the young volunteers after arresting them and accusing them of cooperating with the Rapid Support Forces. The assassinations were carried out in front of their families and others were killed in public without trial.
Citizens in Al-Halfaya reported that the Army and the terrorist Al-Baraa Brigades arrested (120) young men in the area, accusing them of cooperating with the Rapid Support Forces. They stated: “In an inhumane scene, 70 young volunteers were shot with live ammunition in front of their families, others in a public square -mass killing- while others are still under arrest by the Army and extremist brigades” awaiting an unknown fate.
The activist and observer of the field situation and military operations, Mohamed Khalifa, known on social media platforms as (Uncle to the downtrodden), stated on his personal Facebook account that the number of civilians executed by the Army and Al-Baraa Brigades has reached (120) civilians.
Identical sources also reported that most of the martyrs of the Halfaya massacre were volunteers serving the (Takayas) and doing humanitarian work in the area before Al-Baraa Brigades and Military Intelligence personnel entered.
