Sudan War.. The Autoimmune Disease of the Empire of Evil !

Rasha Awad

In the city of Juba, on the 9th of July 2011, I witnessed with my own eyes the moment when the Sudanese flag was officially lowered and the independent Republic of South Sudan was inaugurated !

It was a terrifying, solemn moment filled with lessons, morals, and heartfelt tears !

I cannot fathom how that moment passed unnoticed by the vast majority of the Sudanese people !

Yes, I participated in the southerners’ celebration of their salvation, and I hoped that it would indeed be a true salvation that would turn the page on their suffering through devastating wars, the wanton killing, and discrimination based on ethnic or tribal identity, as well as the burden of tyranny, corruption, poverty, impoverishment, etc.

Unfortunately, the southerners failed to attain what I wished for them !

The war broke out between the comrades in the Popular Movement, a struggle for power that took on a tribal aspect. Therefore, massacres and horrors were committed, then the people were forced to choose between two bitter choices: a harsh dictatorship or a civil war!

The northern separatists, the Islamists, failed to achieve what they hoped for, which was the ease of ruling the north with an iron fist!

Wars erupted fiercely in the new south: South Kordofan and South of the Blue Nile state, in addition to Darfur, which has been raging since 2003.

As for the war currently raging, it’s the Central authority’s war of self-destruction, “security and military-Islamic Kizani war”!

The Rapid Support Forces, which the Islamist regime had established to protect the Central authority in Khartoum from the rebellions of the new south, rebelled against this very same role and completely broke free ! And dealt the Central authority the strongest blow in its history ! A blow directly to the heart ! In the Presidential Palace, the General Command of the Army, and Defense Industries System “Military Industrialization”!

Before those with intellectual disabilities dare to attack my statements, considering it an identification with the Rapid Support Forces’ narrative about the 1956 State, I ought to reiterate what I wrote since the beginning of the war, which is that any positive outcome, if achieved in light of this war, will be due to its repercussions and not to the intentions of any of its parties, because both parties’ goal is to hold the military authority that controls the State (the worst product of the 1956 State).

Since the beginning of this war, I haven’t bought into the “Inqaz” camp and their military’s narrative of the “War of Dignity,” nor the narrative of the war of the 1956 State and the democratic civilian rule of the Rapid Support Forces.

This war, from my point of view, can be understood as an autoimmune disease that afflicted the 1989 State and not the 1956 State ! Just as the human body is exposed to disorders in the immune system that prompt an attack of the vital organs in the body and destroy them partially or completely until the patient dies if they fail to find effective treatment in a timely manner.

This is precisely what happened to the centralized, controlling system of government in its “Kizani” version, whose foundation, stature, numbers and composition are represented in the military security establishment ! And it has been afflicted with an autoimmune disease ! Instead of protecting the “Kizani” empire represented by the 1989 State, the Rapid Support Forces ferociously pounced on it and attacked its vulnerable nerve centers ! Part of Al-Kizan’s Military and Security Services joined the Rapid Support Forces and aided its attack on other parts of this evil empire !

It is the largest self-dissolution of a military regime in the history of Sudan!

The biggest crime of deception, fraud and manipulation is the claim that there is a patriotic battle in which one of the parties defends the State and its institutional entity, because the patriotic State that we inherited from colonialism on the dawn of January 1st, 1956, with its good and evil, no longer exists ! Even its political borders changed with the secession of the South ! It was devoured by Al-Kizani State, i.e. the State of June 30th, 1989, which was afflicted with the incurable autoimmune disease mentioned above!

It’s not a patriotic State at all, but rather a complete and comprehensive undermining of the meaning of homeland and patriotism ! It’s rather incapable of defending itself because its constantly in a state of dissolution and self-destruction ! Coincidentally, the Islamists and their useful intellectuals are demanding that we stand behind the Army -in support- because it represents the entity of the State, and even the State itself, even when the Islamist warmongers’ war propaganda insists that the Army has traitors and agents -among its ranks- that sell out battles and withdraw in favor of the Rapid Support Forces.

While mobilizing support for the Army, we find these warmongers cursing the Army Commander with obscene words and accusing him of treason, they mock the Army Commander while being hosted on what is called the National Television and they’re honored by the same Army!

What madness is this ! What battle of dignity ! What an Army that honors those who curse and betray its leader ! And then someone comes along demanding that we support the same Army that fails to support its own leader !

Despite the drama of everything that is happening, they’re still reading from the same book on the very same page !

They seek a solution in a new division of the country that separates Darfur and with it Kordofan if necessary to monopolize a Central military authority in what is called the State of the Sea and the River!

This is “a hair length they don’t have the neck to pull off” according to the data of the military field !

They will end up in the Republic of Gemstones instead !

And even that is a mess! Because the Rapid Support Forces has repeatedly attacked Hajar al Asal !!

The lesson learned from our harsh patriotic experience is that the secessionist solution isn’t a solution to the problem of the Center (and now there is no center, Khartoum has fallen, but its okay to imagine the existence of an imaginary center in Port Sudan), and secession is also not a solution for the regions that separate, because the warlord secessionist leaders can simply recreate the authority of the Center in their regions, and they won’t achieve justice, freedom, or development in said regions.

The true savior of the Sudanese people in all the regions of Sudan is the good governance that leads to addressing the crises and structural defects in the Sudanese State, achieving developmental balance, social justice, and good management of ethnic and cultural diversity based on the idea of equality in citizenship rights.
