Mubarak Al-Fadil reveals (3) divisions within the Islamic Movement
The head of the Umma Party, Mubarak Al-Fadil Al-Mahdi, revealed information regarding divisions within the Islamic Movement in Sudan into three groups. The first of which is the group of Ali Osman Mohammed Taha, which is currently led by Ali Karti. The second group is the group of Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie, which is headed by Eng. Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid, while the third group is led by Ibrahim Ghandour.
Al-Fadil stated during his interview with (Al-Jazeera Mubasher) that Ali Osman’s group exploited the war to mobilize young people to block the implementation of the “Jeddah” and “Manama” Agreements aimed at stopping the war.
He added that the “Manama” Agreement stipulates the arrest of “Inqaz” cadres who had previously escaped from prisons, renewal of the agreement with the International Criminal Court (ICC) to hand over the accused, in addition to dismantling the June 30 regime, which naturally means returning to the path of the December Revolution that Karti’s group rejects because they wish to return to power again.
