The Port Sudan Stadium Scandal

Safaa Al-Fahal

What happened at the Port Sudan Stadium is a new scandal, which Al-Kizani media tried to cover up by ignoring it as an event that went along way in revealing the degree of heightened awareness and (disgust) that the Red Sea youth have reached by announcing their rejection -in a (peaceful revolutionary) manner- of the presence of the tripartite government (Al-Kizan, Armed Movements, Military) in the city, launching the (No to war) cry when the citizens of this proud city refrained from participating in what some of the mercenaries called (the athletes’ rally to support the war), which the clubs refused to participate in, and the stadium was empty, except for a few warmongers and some self-interested people. The delegation accompanying the deputy of the Coup Council “Agar” -who was embarrassed by the nonexistent participation- was larger in number than the crowd that participated in this farce.

Even the few who attended, looking for something to do in the gloomy Port Sudan nights that are ripe with boredom during this period, began to shout their disapproval when “Agar” began to spread (repeated) lies about the immanent defeat of the militia, or forcing the international community to negotiate with a government delegation, not a military one, and other hollow, repeated words that the helpless citizen is tired of hearing, as he fluctuates between death, diseases, hunger and displacement while listening to such lies being told on a daily basis.

As a matter of fact, there is no (rally), but rather it was one of the mercenary journalist Abdul Majid Abdul Hamid -along with some other mercenaries around him- (ideas), through which they tried to make some (material) gains after they became fed up with the recent state of neglect they have been subjected to by their military benefactors.

Hence, they worked on creating this (propaganda) hoping they would perhaps be able to break that mold and acquire a cut of the country’s loose money, that is being distributed with no apparent accountability to anyone who says (Military decisiveness only) similar to what some of the National Congress journalists who reside in Egypt did by paying a (visit in the form of begging for money) under the pretext of (the Sudanese-Egyptian press delegation) through which they earned thousands of dollars from some meaningless meetings and dialogues..! Before they returned to Egypt after that (pretentious) trip with a large dollar sum and zero journalistic sum.

The current state of (frustration) that permeates the corridors of the National Congress Party’s mercenary media is an attempt to gnaw at the flesh of those who pushed them to oppose the revolution and the people and receive the tax of that treason before the coming change after they felt ignored by those who remained as their slaves, serving their vile purposes and exchanged the honor of the word and the integrity of opinion for a handful of pounds forgetting that history is unforgiving and that the great revolution they sought to assassinate remains. However, they are destined to lose as they can no longer boast about it again after they resorted to betrayal.

It’s a revolution that will never stop..

Accountability and retribution remain inevitable..

Mercy and forgiveness be upon the righteous martyrs ..
