(6) children die of Malnutrition in “South Kordofan”
A Voluntary Association in “South Kordofan” announced the death of (6) children from Malnutrition in the city of “Dilling”.
A report by “Amal Baker” Association revealed that more than (160) children were suffering from Severe and Moderate Malnutrition at the “Omar Bin Al-Khattab” School shelter.
The six children’s deaths occurred between the 23rd of July and 20th of August, according to a report by the Association.
An increasing number of international reports are warning of the spread of famine in Sudan following widespread looting and disruption of agricultural seasons due to the expansion of the war and lack of funding in safe areas.
Regions of “South Kordofan” are witnessing harsh living conditions, as the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North led by Abdel Aziz al-Hilu declared famine in the areas under its control in the states of “South Kordofan” and “Blue Nile”.
