Entering a hornet’s nest

Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta announced three weeks ago in a televised interview that they are working earnestly to forge a new, anti-Western international alliance. Adding that this alliance will tip the balance in the domestic, regional and international equation in favor of the Armed Forces and win the war against the Rapid Support Forces.

The aspects of this alliance were made rather clear when relations with the “Islamic Republic of Iran” were reestablished and the two countries exchanged ambassadors. In addition, relations with the “Federal Republic of Russia” were developed as the Sudanese Minister of Defense, Maj. Gen. Yassin Ibrahim visited Russia last week, which coincided with the visit of a large Russian delegation to the city of Port Sudan.

Informed sources have spoken in regards to the growing numbers of Russian military presence in the city of Port Sudan, and today “Al-Hadath” TV channel spoke with a general in the Armed Forces who confirmed that the Army leadership will grant “Iran” and “Russia” logistical facilities on the Red Sea to serve the naval military vessels of both countries.

These indicators confirm what Lt. Gen. Yasser Al-Atta, while speaking on “Sudan” TV from Port Sudan, said in regards to working to forge a new international coalition to confront the West and regional countries, in addition to obtaining weaponry and military equipment to support the continuation of the war.

These developments clearly indicate that the generals in the Port Sudan resort, with or without knowledge, are attracting crises and inciting tensions to expand regional and international conflicts that don’t serve Sudan’s interests.

The Red Sea is an important global waterway, especially for all Gulf States, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Egypt specifically, and is linked to their national security.
The growing Iranian and Russian presence increases international tension, especially with the activity of the “Houthi” group supported by Iran to stop international navigation in the Red Sea and create a hotbed of instability as well as threaten the global trade. The Republic of China and India are among the countries affected, as their international trade with Europe and the United States of America will be severely impacted.

The generals of Port Sudan are striving, with shortcomings and lack of imagination in their strategic knowledge, to win over “Iran” and “Russia” in exchange for losing the rest of the world.

History repeats itself in the form of a comedy. “Um Dafouk” Base, which was granted by the “Inqaz” regime to the Russian “Wagner” group between 2017 and 2019, in addition, the coordination with the “Séléka” armed groups to change the regime in the Central African Republic, played a major role in Western mobilization against the regime, especially the “Troika” countries as well as Germany and France.

Which only served to intensify the boycott of the country, and an international coordination began to confront the challenges to stop the unrest of the “Inqaz” regime on the regional scene. Hence, an international alliance was formed to put an end to these threats.

Now history is repeating itself with the Port Sudan generals seeking to follow along the same lines, by reestablishing the Iranian relations, the development of Russian relations, and utilizing the Red Sea to pose a threat to Western interests, which raises all regional and international concerns.

A situation likely to escalate and ignite, and there will be more pressure from the international community to maintain the fragile balance in the Red Sea.

In Conclusion:

The reestablished Iranian relations, the development of Russian relations, and utilizing the threat of the Red Sea at this time are preludes to Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan entering the hornet’s nest with his right foot -A Recipe For Disaster- the same hole from which ousted President Omar Al-Bashir was stung.

The question is: Who is thinking for the soldiers in Port Sudan ?? There is no calamity greater and more serious than ignorance!

Enemies don’t suffer at the hands of an ignorant person
What the ignorant person suffers from himself..
