The Chaos of positions !

Safaa Al-Fahal

Regardless of the diplomatic norms that we stated the head of “Al-Kizan” government delegation “Abu Namo” had nothing to do with, the head of the negotiating delegation from “Jeddah” shared in a (halting) statement that seemed to have been prepared in advance about the conclusion of the negotiations with the American delegation (suggesting) that the government delegation doesn’t go to “Geneva” and cancel the previous agreement between the “Portkoz” government and the international community with its approval to participate in these talks.

It is customary for the two parties to hold a joint press conference in which they talk about the obstacles that prevented reaching an agreement, this raises various question marks, which in turn indicates a clear disagreement had occurred during the earlier sessions, prompting the government party to walk out with such (severity) and anger to settle the matter completely.

It seems that the “Kizani” government’s delegation arrived in “Jeddah” with a ready-made, repeated and well-known (requests) such as; declaring the Rapid Support Forces a terrorist group and supporting the process of removing them from Khartoum and so on, requesting insurance for them before discussing the details of the other agenda. However, the American delegation rejected this method of imposing (commandments) on the negotiations, which is a tactic Al-Burhan’s government has been adopting recently, and “Al-Kizani” delegation announced the conclusion of the talks, hence the meeting was adjourned less than an hour after the start date.

Additionally, unconfirmed news shared that an unannounced meeting had taken place at the same time between the coup leader “Al-Burhan” and the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces, “Hemedti” in “Kigali”, where Al-Burhan was attending the inauguration ceremony of the Rwandan president, which was a surprise to the “Kizani” group, prompting it to stop the negotiations and ask the negotiating delegation to return to Port Sudan, believing it was a (trick) to distract the group refusing to stop the war with that meeting, while Al-Burhan was discussing ways to stop the war elsewhere.

Apparently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Portkoz government is clearly (confused), for it has yet to issue any statement -until the time of writing this article- to clarify what actually happened, and rest assured we will return to discuss it, God willing, after the events are made clear.

The revolution will never stop..
Retribution is inevitable..
Mercy and forgiveness be upon the righteous martyrs ..
