Help Yasser Al-Atta!!
Sayf Al-Dawla Hamadna Allah
Not a single person i know, would voluntarily choose to be the subject of ridicule and mockery like Lt. Gen. Yasser Al-Atta seems to have penchant for doing whenever he utters a statement, and the prevalence of what tongues and pens have discussed in exposing his heresy suffices any need for me to review his exact statements once again.
However, it was rather necessary to seriously consider his last statement in which he said that Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan asked him to strike an agreement with Lt. Gen. Al-Kabbashi and take over (the matter); meaning that they should take over the leadership of the Army and the country. And when Al-Atta asked Al-Burhan about the reason for his desire to give up the leadership position, the latter informed him that he has “reached his limit,” an expression that indicates he no longer has the ability to continue. Al-Atta then replied: “We have all reached the limit, Your Excellency,” meaning that the Military and political leadership trio (Al-Burhan _ Al-Kabbashi _ Al-Atta) had already put forth all the (achievements) they possibly could and no longer have the ability to continue.
Taking the initiative to reveal the desire to withdraw from the battle came from the highest military rank to be expressed to a lower ranking officer who isn’t responsible for making the decision to accept or reject his superior’s withdrawal, and cannot even dissuade him from his decision, which indicates that Al-Burhan can proceed with his intended withdrawal at any time. The aforementioned reason is sufficient justification to take such statements seriously.
What Lt. Gen. Al-Atta failed to disclose in regards to the plan is: If they proceed with their desire to withdraw from the command. Will they continue to take arms and fight alongside the Mobilization !? Or will they revert to joining their brothers, the senior Army and Police officers in the neighborhoods of Madinaty, Dokki and Mohandiseen in Cairo ?
In Military custom and doctrine, an ordinary soldier isn’t allowed to withdraw voluntarily from the battlefield, and if he does, it is called “fleeing the field” and the penalty for it is death.
This is a fact that Lt. Gen. Al-Atta failed to pay attention to, for he has become a “Dervish” in the eyes of the people, uttering nonsense with no sense of accountability, which in popular proverbs is referred to as “Someone thrown off by a Camel.”
