The “Teachers’ Committee” launches a Campaign to stop the war
The Sudanese Teachers’ Committee announced its intention to launch the “Major Teachers’ Campaign to Stop the War in Sudan” on the 27th of July.
According to the Teachers’ Committee statement, the campaign aims to convey the voice of teachers who reject war and demand peace, especially since education is one of the most affected sectors by the ongoing conflict.
In addition, Teachers are worthy and competent enough to lead the popular anti-war movement.
The Committee went on to add in their statement that the campaign’s activities will begin next Saturday and will continue until its desired goals are achieved, accompanied by multiple and varied activities.
