“Al-Burhan” seeks “UAE” help in resolving the Sudanese crisis
The Sudanese Army Commander, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, made a phone call to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, requesting the UAE’s assistance in resolving the Sudanese crisis.
During the call, Bin Zayed discussed with Al-Burhan the most recent developments of the situation on the Sudanese front and ways to support Sudan in overcoming the ongoing crisis.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed assured Al-Burhan of his country’s keenness to support all solutions and initiatives aimed at stopping the escalation and ending the crisis in Sudan, in a way that contributes to the enhancement of stability and security of the country as well as achieves its people’s aspirations for development and prosperity.
The President of the United Arab Emirates stressed the necessity of prioritizing the voice of wisdom and peaceful dialogue, upholding Sudan’s supreme interests, and preserving its security and stability.
He expressed the UAE’s commitment to continue its support for humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people.
