(The Sewers), No offense !!

It’s as if one of the pious worshippers of Allah who enjoy an elevated degree of faith that exceeds that of the common had prayed for the Army Commander, Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, to suffer defeat, scandal, and disgrace. For he began behaving like a man possessed by Satan, walking from one defeat to another, suffering through the shame of one scandal after another!

He became exposed, lacking the reverence and respect, and in disgrace even among the most despicable of his people, the thieves, who took to calling him the vilest of epithets and descriptions, to the point of likening him to a “Swallow” in an effort to better express the extent of his corruption, in an effort to demean and belittle him.

His scandal became widely shared on social media with every “tweet” and “post.” And being described as a “Swallow” on Sudanese Facebook pages became the most widely discussed, and trending topic, managing to overshadow the news of the attempted assassination of former US President Donald Trump!

The two speakers in the audio leak were -by no means- wrong when they called him a “Swallow” -what an accurate, comprehensive, and apt description- even if it was issued by the most corrupt people in the history of the Sudanese State, the first of whom is “Mohamed Othman,” who seems to be a recurring party to all the recent leaks, and the second of them is Al-Koz “Abd al-Rahman Mohammed Abd al-Rahman,” one of the youth leaders close to the ousted president Omar al-Bashir, as well as Al-Burhan, who appointed him to the secretariat of the Sovereignty Council, alongside Lieutenant General (thief), Mohamed al-Ghali, the most despicable of them all !

Even though the leaked recording proved to be rather amusing due to its obscene and humorous descriptions, it was also sad and painful to hear, as it reveals to the public the truly miserable state our country and the mentality of those running it, as well as the way Al-Burhan chooses his crew. If it is permissible to call them a crew to begin with. I believe it’s better to refer to them as (an entourage or retinue).

The leak also revealed that the man -the Sewer- plundered and it took him (3) years to accomplish a level of corruption that Al-Kizan took (3) decades to achieve. This only goes to show his insistence on continuing the war despite the shameful and successive defeats he suffered as well as the overall state of desolation and weakness that befell the Army during his reign, which prompted some military divisions to flee to neighboring countries (Chad, South Sudan) where they handed over the entirety of their equipment and gear in a clear indication of collapse!

Despite this blatant collapse, the man -the Sewer- doesn’t want to save what can be saved by sitting down to negotiations and coming up with a settlement that preserves what remains of the Army and the nation. The reason behind such intransigence – as we know- is that any cessation of the war means ending the state of “non-State” that he presides over, which is an ideal State for plunder, theft, corruption, and lack of accountability.

This is a comfortable situation for any unscrupulous, unpatriotic thief, and it is also an ideal environment for the breeding of dirty rats that feed on the stinking (Sewers) waste, including but not limited to: Mirghani Idris, Gibril, Bushara Suleiman, Minnawi, Abu Nammu, Ardol, Askouri, Al-Tom Hajo…etc. They are merely the dirty rats and parasitic creatures that feed on the contents of the cesspool, and they are the ones who don’t want the war to stop, because that dries up the Sewers, leaving them to face their fate, as they have no future in a moral political and social environment !

What the leaked recording revealed is just the tip of the iceberg regarding the corruption of Al-Burhan, his inner circle, and his entourage. They won’t allow the war to stop because that simply means their imminent end.

Therefore, the chief corrupt person -the Swallow- will continue to cling to his position of refusing to stop the war, not because he thinks military decisiveness can bring him victory, or thst he had been able to achieve any victory in reality, as he admitted they were invisible victories (that we can now see in the recording), but because the current situation is ideal for corruption, theft and plunder. The Sudanese people can very well continue to suffer through the war, hunger, poverty, diseases and homelessness, for all he cares.

The sewer is never full and the rats are never satisfied !
