Sudanese students take Middle School exams in “UAE”
The Sudanese Community in “Ajman” celebrated the middle school students being able to take their final exams in “Ajman”, in the Teachers’ Institute buildings affiliated with the Emirates Education Foundation, after they were unable to complete the required exams in Sudan due to the ongoing war.
According to “Al-Khaleej” newspaper, the celebration was attended by Zahir Abdelfadil Agab, Consul General of the Republic of Sudan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Awad Rahma, head of the Sudanese Community in “Ajman,” as well as representatives of the examinations committee in Sudan, and parents of the students.
Awad Rahma reiterated the cohesion of the Emirati and Sudanese peoples despite the turmoil and tribulations that Sudan is going through. He praised the role of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emiratis, may God protect him, wise leadership and support for the Sudanese people in an attempt to alleviate the suffering the latter face as a result of the war.
Dr. Samar Jamal, head of the “I Child, I learn” Initiative, stated that the initiative helped nearly (3,000) children with distance education for those who were unable to study in regular schools, noting that the initiative provides the Sudanese children with a progressive, sophisticated education that keeps pace with the requirements of the twenty-first century, by providing Academic and non-academic educational materials through which we seek to create a different academic educational environment that reflects our vision and perspective of what education is meant to be.
