The pivotal issues discussed revealed
Reliable Security sources shared that the meeting between the Army Commander-in-Chief, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the Ethiopian Prime Minister “Abiy Ahmed” discussed the status of the Ethiopian Tigray Mercenaries fighting alongside the Sudanese Army, in addition to a number of security issues and files between the two countries.
The sources added that the Port Sudan meeting touched on the subject of Sudan’s debt to Ethiopia, including electricity benefits that has been accumulating for more than two years due to the financial deficit the government of Port Sudan is facing.
Hundreds of Ethiopian Tigray Mercenaries, rejecting the agreement of the Ethiopian government and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front in South Africa, are fighting alongside the Sudanese Army.
