“RSF” announces liberation of the 92nd Infantry Brigade
in “Al-Meiram” West Kordofan
Today “Thursday” the Rapid Support Forces announced the liberation of the 92nd Infantry Brigade in “Al-Meiram” area of the 22nd Infantry Division in Babanusa, West Kordofan state, following the battles that ensued with the Army.
The “Rapid Support Forces” shared in a statement that it had fully extended its control over “Al-Meiram” area, seized a large number of weapons and ammunition, and destroyed a number of tanks and heavy artillery.
Video clips on social media showed Rapid Support soldiers displaying quantities of weapons, ammunition, and army combat vehicles at the headquarters of the 92nd Infantry Brigade, Al-Meiram, after the Army members fled the area.
Al-Meiram is located on the border with the Republic of South Sudan, which means the Rapid Support Forces are deployed across the region extending from the Kordofan border to Darfur.
