Shaiba Dirar: “Terik” to be removed
from the leadership of "Beja" within hours
The Commander-in-Chief of the Alliance of Parties and Armed Struggle Movements in Eastern Sudan, Shaiba Dirar, threatened to remove the head of the High Council of Beja Nazirs and Independent Chieftains, Mohammad Al-Amin Terik, from his position, and to form new bodies within (72) hours.
Dirar stated, in a speech addressing his supporters in Port Sudan on Thursday, that the leadership continued to embrace mercenaries -according to his description- to implement their agenda by selling their conscience.
He added: “We want to send a message to great leaders who have been leading the Beja for 45 years.”
The Commander-in-Chief of the Alliance of Parties and Armed Struggle Movements in Eastern Sudan, confirmed the start of the formation of new bodies for the Beja, as an alternative to the one led by the tribal leader “Terik”. He added: “To Terik; you aren’t too big to be removed, and we’ll give you 72 hours only before new bodies for the Beja will be formed.”
