Al-Atta announces support for Agar’s sarcastic

Assistant Army Commander Yasser Al-Atta confirmed that the Army won’t go to the city of Jeddah to resume negotiations with the Rapid Support Forces, mediated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States.

He announced his support for Malik Aqar’s sarcastic statements towards America and Saudi Arabia regarding the Jeddah negotiations and its resumption. While addressing Army soldiers, Al-Atta stated: “Malik gave the State’s opinion,” before adding: ‘There won’t be no Jeddah nor chicken.’”

Malik Agar’s statements were met with worldwide condemnation by the international as well as regional community, considering them irresponsible. And according to a former American diplomat, Washington considered them to be inappropriate and disdainful towards the United States of America.
