Al-Atta: The speech of defeat, ignorance, and marketing illusions…!

When you listen to the coup leaders, you are astonished at the level of confusion and misguidance in which they are immersed…! Hence what Yasser Al-Atta did, for he took the path opposite of Moses and Aaron…!

One person decides to cancel the “Draft Constitutional Declaration” that was created by the revolution… Then he decides to replace it with a new, fully-fledged constitution. No one has the slightest clue when it was prepared… Perhaps he and Al-Burhan wrote it to enable them to form a new “Sovereignty” Council and announce a new “Technocratic” government to manage the founding transitional period…!

This is the “Commander of the Omdurman Military Region” who speaks about his victories and achievements as well as the imminent declaration of victory in liberating all regions of Sudan… whilst in Omdurman, bombs and explosives are still causing the death of people in the neighborhoods of Al-Jarafa, Bant and Al-Thawra… In addition, he is announcing that the Rapid Support Forces has seized control over South, East and West Darfur and is present in North Darfur, Kordofan, Al-Jazeera state, Khartoum, Khartoum Bahri, East Nile, Babanusa, El-Geneina, Sennar as well as the White Nile state…!

All of this is swept under the guise of “dereliction” for which he apologizes to the Sudanese people…! Losing all these areas of the country and retreating, displacing the Sudanese people all over the world, destroying facilities, and drawing Sudan back to the Middle Ages is just a dereliction for which Yasser Al-Atta apologizes and awaits forgiveness…!

Then he adds, they have abandoned the responsibility of protecting the citizens in all these regions in favor of their responsibility towards protecting the borders…!!

They withdrew from Nyala due to lack of ammunition…! And from Madani and the state of Al-Jazeera, waiting for the investigation committee’s report… and not because the commander of the region refused to hand over command to “Al-Bara’ Brigade” and announced that he was forced to step away from command… Then when the Rapid Support Forces arrived, Al-Bara’ Brigade’s affiliates fled and abandoned the citizens to the horns of death…!

Eyewitnesses stated that when the Ukrainian forces wanted to withdraw from one of the sectors in which the Russian forces advanced, they first transferred civilians to safe areas inside the country and then retreated… because they have a duty to protect civilians in times of war…!

Al-Atta continues to repeat the false accusations leveled by the ousted regime’s holdouts against the Civil Forces that opposes the war, claiming they support the Rapid Support Forces…! Then he announces that he isn’t refusing to negotiate, but rather “he wants the Rapid Support Forces to implement the Jeddah Agreement in order to move onto the next stages” …! So, it’s safe to conclude the man is accepting to negotiate with the invaders, as he calls them…!

His personal opinion: There is no problem in granting Russia a Military Base on Sudanese land overlooking the Red Sea, and giving America a neighboring base, as well as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait if they want it… because the place is wide enough…! He even ponders what is strange about that…!

Al-Atta adds that the Army soldiers’ condition is miserable, but they prefer not to use helmets and field boots, as Sudanese soldiers before them did… and they refuse to use berms in war out of faith…! But he didn’t disclose where the 80% of the State budget allocated to the Regular Forces went…!

Regarding the story of the brigades of the ousted regime’s holdouts, he says they don’t want any political compensation… He met with seven of their leaders and they told him they are (expatriate professionals) who came in response to the call for mobilization, and they didn’t want any position of power “and will be satisfied with the reward” …!

Stated in the introduction to the book (The History of Lying) by the French philosopher Jacques Derrida that lying is linked to renouncing vows, breaking promises as well as oaths…! There is no lying without intention, will, or a clear desire to deceive…! The liar renounces his promises to others by lying with the intention of distracting them from his lies with other lies to deceive them and controlling their behavior…and liars don’t lie to themselves…

But he practices deception and manipulation of events, positions and opinions, and is not aware of the dire consequences resulting from that…! Among the liars are those who hit rock bottom… as lying requires a degree of mastery and artistic sense…! Does Al-Atta possess this artistic sense…?!

The summary of Yasser Al-Atta’s speech is that he and his generals are against the revolution and not against the Rapid Support Forces… their beloved who has turned against them…!

This man wants to make us believe that he and his brothers -the coup generals- are controlling the Brotherhood and their brigades… when the opposite is true… and they are nothing more than pawns and chess pieces in the hands of Al-Kizan…!

Al-Atta is trying to market his defeats to the people in the form of victories…! We must shelf our minds… in order to comprehend his words and believe in his promises… and as Mahmoud Darwish once wondered: “Should a citizen be infected with tuberculosis so that he doesn’t forget that he has a lung…!” Pray God doesn’t bless you with victory on your quest…!
