Al-Hadi Idris suggests afew hours truce
in El-Fasher to Washington
The spokesman for the Sudan Revolutionary Front, Osama Saeed, stated that the leader, Al-Hadi Idris, discussed with the US Special Envoy for Sudan Tom Perriello today the circumstances surrounding the crisis in the city of El-Fasher and the possible options of containment.
He added that Idris proposed a three-day truce to open safe paths for the citizens to leave the areas of conflict onto safer regions outside of the city of El-Fasher.
The ongoing escalations of the situation in the city of El-Fasher continues after the Army Forces, supported by their allied Armed Movements’ forces, carried out successive attacks on the Rapid Support Forces’ positions in the city, as the latter countered (25) attacks on its forces during the past few days.
