“UNICEF” : Two children killed in an air strike on El-Fasher and
catastrophic fate awaits 750,000 children
“UNICEF” Executive Director Catherine Russell stated that the violence in and around El-Fasher will only lead to deadly consequences for the children in Sudan.
Catherine Russell confirmed that an airstrike near the children’s hospital killed two children and deprived many of them of life-saving care.
The Executive Director added that further escalation of the situation would prove disastrous for 750,000 children in El-Fasher who must be protected.
