Youssef Ezzat reveals the shortest way to save

“what is left of the army”

The political advisor to the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Youssef Ezzat, stated that the battles in Kordofan reveal that Al-Burhan’s army and its terrorist militias are still trying to mobilize the people in order to reclaim positions the Rapid Support Forces took control of and secured their presence in.

Ezzat added, “The continuous attempts to win battles against the Rapid Support Forces, after it was proven futile for the army to even attempt to accomplish that, simply because it is no longer the Sudanese army with its long history of oppressing the peoples of Sudan, and disrupting peace for a year or more in order to seek victories on the ground, after the propaganda and fake “social media” victories were exposed will further the Sudanese people’s suffering, displacement in addition to the daily loss of lives by aerial bombardment.”

The political advisor stressed in a tweet on his “X” account that the fastest way for the Army to save face with its bloody history, is “negotiations” and ending the violence according to the terms of the Sudanese people, the first of which is establishing a single professional national army, instead of multiple for one country, in addition to choosing the path of peace and democratic transformation, as well as building State institutions that serves its citizens.

He indicated that this is the only path for the army leaders and terrorist brigades to choose, and sooner or later, whether the army leadership will take part in the negotiations or will the war be resolved militarily, because the people’s ongoing suffering and the future country aren’t subject to the desires of the defeated military leaders who wish to regain the dignity they wasted the moment they ignited war in the heart of the capital, Khartoum, on April 15th, 2023.
