The Army crimes are the most horrific
Abdullah Issa Kutr Abid writes: The Army crimes are the most horrific

The military institution with all of its branches, specifically the Army, is the bloodiest and commits the most horrific crime since its formation, which led the Sudanese citizen to consider it an institution professioned in killing, crushing, and creating “militias” since its formation by the colonizer.

A circulating video showed one of the Armed Forces’ soldiers by the name of “Mohammed Zakaria Yahya” cutting open a citizen’s abdomen and eating his entrails. In the video, which has -since then- gained significant traction online, the perpetrator is said to belong to “El-Sa‘ka Forces.” This phenomenon is by far the worst of all crimes committed by both parties to the conflict “crimes of looting and murder and plunder” throughout the past year.

The truly unfortunate aspect of the phenomenon of beheading young men in El-Obeid and eating the entrails of a citizen in El-Gedaref is that; these victims were not soldiers of the Rapid Support Forces, but rather innocent citizens of no fault except suspicions because they belong to the nurturing social components of the leaders of the Rapid Support Forces.
This leads us reiterate over and over again that the Army in its current state of affairs is not a professional national army as much as it is a vengeful army, that includes “ISIS” extremist groups, which requires reviewing this institution and merging all these armies into one professional united army with a national doctrine that prevents extremism and fanaticism. In addition, army leaders must refrain from any interference in the economic sector as well as politics.
There are questions on my mind..
-Does this army, in its current state, deserve popular support and advocacy?
– Why has the army, since its establishment, been killing its very own people and crushing the nurturing social components of anyone who revolted against the Khartoum government?
– Why did the Rapid Support Forces not partake in these chillingly horrific crimes “beheading and eating human entrails”..?
– Why do we accuse the Rapid Support Forces of being a militia when the army is a militia founder?! If a woman gives birth to an illegitimate child, will she be deserving of punishment or the child?! We should hold the parent who committed the crime accountable.
