Ibrahim Al-Mirghani: Restoring Sudan’s
pre-war conditions is “impossible”
The leader in the Original Democratic Unionist Party “DUP,” Ibrahim Al-Mirghani, described the war as an extension of extremist approaches, behavior and thought, which hinders any chances of achieving peace and renders it impossible for life to return to its pre-war conditions.
The statement is made after a video was circulated showing a group of Sudanese army soldiers openly celebrating heinous acts. The video shows the horrific mutilation of a dead body and the subsequent evisceration of its entrails, amidst the unabashed ecstasy of the perpetrators and chants of jubilation “Tahleel” from the mobilized forces.
The widely circulated video clip of the Sudanese Army soldiers ripping out the insides of a Sudanese citizen sparked widespread censure, condemnation and anger at the extremist and terrorist behavior practiced by the Sudanese army and its terrorist brigades against Sudanese citizens.
The social media site deleted the video clip from its platform after it was met with widespread circulation over the past two days, due to the shockingly barbaric scenes it contained and the behavior of the Sudanese army soldiers, which contradicts customs, morals, rules of engagement, and all International and Humanitarian Laws.
