The Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese army’s son, Mohammed Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan died as a result of a serious injury in a traffic accident that took place in the Turkish capital, Ankara, last March.
On the 8th of March, Mohammed Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Ankara, according to the details announced by the local media.
According to Turkish newspapers, Al-Burhan’s son collided, while driving his motorcycle, with a private car in Ankara, in front of the Constitutional Court building, on Public Prosecutor Selim Kiraz Street, in the Gölbaşı area.
Local media outlets reported that the incident was planned and a message from members of the “Islamic Movement” present in Turkey to put pressure on Army Commander-in-chief, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, to prevent him from signing a peace agreement with the Rapid Support Forces, and to pressure him into continuing the war in Sudan, which they consider to be a lifeline for the Islamists’ future in power.
