“Hemedti” to UN: Our forces will continue to
defend themselves on all fronts
The commander of the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan, Mohammed Hamdan Daglo “Hemedti,” shared that he has assured the UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy for Sudan, Ramtane Lamamra, that “His forces will continue to defend themselves on all fronts.”
“Hemedti” added, in a tweet on the “X” platform, that he has “Discussed with Lamamra the current conditions in North Darfur state, in addition to the (deliberate) aerial bombardment by the Sudanese army.”
The commander of the Rapid Support Forces reiterated his willingness to cooperate with the United Nations and humanitarian organizations “To facilitate the arrival of aid to all parts of the country.”
