The last opportunity!!
As we have previously told the ousted regime’s holdouts dozens of times, there is no escape from the Jeddah platform except to it.
Sabah Mohammed Al-Hassan writes… The last opportunity!!
As we had previously mentioned, 1sst Lt. Gen. Shams al-Din al-Kabbashi, is a member of the coup council, and since his departure from the General Command headquarters, he had led a negotiating direction with Jeddah as its destination, supported by a significant group of officers within the military establishment. Just as there were Islamic leaders who realized that the war would not achieve its goals, there were soldiers who saw with their eyes the tender veins on the walls of the General Command headquarters and looked at the sorrowful curtains of the homeland drawn over the window of war, and recognized that negotiations were the best solution to stop this accursed sedition, and al-Kabbashi was one of the first to realize.
The Army and Rapid Support Forces will resume negotiations at the Jeddah platform in the first week of May, according to the American envoy. The official spokesman for “TAGADOM” confirmed yesterday both parties’ commitment to returning to the path of negotiations without setting any preconditions. They will return to negotiations with resolution and determination to put an end to the war, and perhaps a notable change will occur in the list of representation from both sides.
The criteria may include longer years of experience, meaning Al-Kabbashi may head the negotiating delegation, and the Rapid Support may include new figures parallel to the representation of the military establishment. Al-Kabbashi is now geographically the closest to the negotiation hall, with news about secret, unannounced meetings preceding the negotiation process. Al-Kabbashi’s public presence in the negotiations or his presence in the decision-making kitchen will have a major impact on the stability of the army’s position this time. Due to the significant weight the man holds at the military decision-making center. Secondly and most importantly, the negotiation decision will not be influenced by the ousted regime’s holdouts this time, for they have repeatedly intervened and hindered the negotiations.
And the stick that we had previously talked about, the AU Peace and Security Council refuses but to mention in its statement yesterday, emphasizing that it may seem like the last opportunity. And stressing the need to adhere to the negotiation deadline, in addition to hinting at the intervention of the UN Security Council if parties sensed that one of the two parties to the conflict was not taking matters seriously. The Peace and Security Council preempted the deadline with a statement demanding the Security Council to adopt it as a working document with the aim of ensuring enhanced coordination and harmonization of efforts in Sudan. Which can be considered a clear and explicit direction, if the two parties to the conflict do not commit to negotiating, the UN Security Council will intervene as it deems appropriate.
It is quite noteworthy that the Peace and Security Council, given the history of its previous requests to the UN Security Council, has never had countries that possess veto power, such as Russia, ever object to a request submitted by the AU Peace and Security Council..!!
We have previously told the ousted regime’s holdouts dozens of times, there is no escape from the Jeddah platform except to it. And we reiterated that even if the military establishment knocked on a thousand doors, took a million roads, and established dozens of parallel platforms, it would eventually return to the direction of this platform and turn their face towards it.

We will sing for peace soon… and we will build what we dream about daily.
