The 1st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo’s “Hemedti” speech has been widely circulated amidst social media outlets. The speech garnered varied feedback on its contents, for it conveyed several messages. General Daglo has revealed facts and serious informations regarding coups and the conspiracies that led to the 25th of October coup. The Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council further stated about being in possession of a lot of files he described as the black box.
An appearance amidst valiant RSF soldiers “Al-Ashaws”:
The appearance of Commander Mohammed Hamdan Daglo, Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Rapid Support Forces, amidst his brave soldiers, graduates of the Urban Warfare Course, was a severe shock to the ousted regime’s holdouts and ttheir supporters, as General Mohamed Hamdan revealed the reasons for the outbreak of the April 15 war and further stated: “We are victims of the removal of the ousted president’s regime, the Juba Agreement, and the Framework Agreement”
Daglo explained in his address to columns of valiant RSF soldiers “Al-Ashaws” that the war began on April 11th, 2019 with Al-Burhan being appointed as head of the Military Council. Stating; I refused to enter power, but Al-Burhan swore an oath that i would enter the government.
He stressed that the conspiracy began from there and concluded by stating: Al-Burhan was behind all the conspiracies from that period until the 15th of last April. Al-Burhan was the one who ordered the killing of citizens in Port Sudan, Darfur and Kordofan. The Commander-in-Chief of the Rapid Support Forces further announced his possession of all those files he referred to as black boxes.
Regarding the conduct of military operations, Daglo stated: We are in the process of training our forces and we didn’t prepare for urban warfare, however he added: The experience of the war, which has lasted up to 6 months now, taught us a lot.
Messages in their mail..
A variety of comments and significant attention were given to the speech of General Mohammed Hamdan Daglo, where a leader in the Umma Party and member of Forces of Freedom and Change “FFC” Orwa Al-Sadiq, described the VP’s speech as important in that it delivered several messages. He stated: The speech was simple and delivered with clear colloquial language for the elite and the common people alike. It contained many messages, the most important of which were for soldiers, citizens, and the Army, as well as an important international message.
The message emphasized repeatedly to the soldiers was calling for adherence, discipline and do no harm to the citizen’s self and property. That message was repeated. And the message he kept repeating for the members of the Armed Forces was; this is not their battle, but the dissolved party’s personnels and brigades’ battle, which he admitted had served him in what he described as misguidance. He indicated the existence of incubators of terrorist activities sponsored by the former regime, stressing his commitment to the negotiations that leads to what he termed “Real Peace”.
Orwa explained that this speech needs to be backed by action. The areas under RSF control are witnessing irregularities, in addition to the existence of a number of civilian detainees with undisclosed reasons for their arrest. These instances place him in a position of responsibility, and today, Khartoum state and widespread parts of a number of Darfur states are under his control. Although life within has become unbearable due to a difficulty in movement and acquiring food, water and medicine. All of this requires “a statement of action” and lack of sleep or rest.
It’s a secret to no one, including General Daglo, that there are several of the disbanded party’s criminals and opportunists who have taken refuge behind the RSF rifle. The general needs to express the desire and ability to make concessions in order to reach a real agreement on the road to achieving comprehensive peace that ends the military control over power and lays the foundation for the democratic transition. And adhere to moving towards peace more than mobilizing and preparing for war.
For just as he called for stopping the use of gear and equipment and preparing for war, he must proceed with the same steps and ensure it in the agreement, while the mediation will supervise his oversight and monitor any mobilization activities in preparation for the war.
For his part, mr. Ashraf Mohammed, a member of south Khartoum’s Resistance Committees, described the appearance of commander Daglo yesterday amidst his troops as a bold step, and added that all the conversations he listed of Al-Burhan’s conspiracies don’t necessitate evidences or proofs, and explained that Hemedti’s appearance should be viewed as a good omen for achieving comprehensive peace regardless of settling scores.
He continued, “Al-Burhan’s repeated defeat on the battlefield has put him before a fait accompli. We believe that he has no choice but to go to Jeddah with an open heart further from the ousted regime’s holdouts biddings.”
