RSF Deputy Commander Directed to Secure Citizens and Open Markets and Public Facilities
Abdul Rahim Hamdan, Deputy Commander of the Rapid Support Forces called for the arrest of the ousted regime’s holdouts, placing them behind bars, and bringing them to fair trials.
At headquarters of the 16 infantry division of Nyala, South Darfur state following its liberation _Thursday_ from Al-Burhan’s Militia, Abdul Rahim Hamdan urged the citizens who left the city of Nyala due to the military events to return to their homes. Calling on the police and prosecution officials to resume their duties in protecting the citizens.
The Deputy Commander of the Rapid Support Forces directed his forces to maintain security and ensure the citizen’s safety, in addition to providing them with the necessary services to restore life’s previous normalcy, opening markets and securing the roads. He stated: (We will protect the citizens harboring no demands to seek power). Adding, we will maintain security in all the liberated sites from the clutches of the ousted regime’s holdouts and coup plotters.
He stressed that RSF imposed their full control over the16 infantry division of Nyala, and the South Darfur sector Commander called the RSF to assume full responsibility of the citizen’s protection.
He called on the native administration and civil society with their historical responsibility to assume administration of South Darfur state, stressing that RSF will provide security and a generous life for the citizen’s suffering through the ousted regime holdouts’ oppression and were bombed by air strikes.
The Deputy Commander urged the Armed Struggle Movements to join forces with the RSF for the protection of citizens and regions, stating: (We are finished with the lesser enemy and onto the greater enemy, which is Self-jihad and the provision of security to citizens)
