Jeddah Renewed.. With no Consolation for the Instigators of Sedition
Widely informed sources revealed knowledge of vigorous attempts made by “Al-Kizan” to prevent the start of fresh negotiations round between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces under the Jeddah Platform umbrella in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
The source stated that senior Islamic leaders had been urging the Armed Forces leadership since the beginning of this week not to respond to the mediation invitation to resume negotiations. Going as far as threatening to withdraw all jihadist brigades from the war leaving the army alone.
A number of Armed Forces officers predicted that the expected negotiation round will be different from its predecessors because it will work on correcting all the mistakes and removing all imperfections of dealing with Al-Kizan.
The officers strongly advised Al-Burhan to move forth with negotiations in a way that achieves the aspirations of the Sudanese people in putting an end to the ongoing war and restoring life to its previous normalcy.
Al-Kizan believe that any steps taken in negotiations and discussions between the Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces will be the end of their aspirations in returning to power.
Al-Toum Omar Madibu, strategic expert, stated that the ongoing war can only be resolved through negotiations and discussions. And that the military resolution is difficult to attain, judging by the reality of urban warfare.
Madibu stressed the need for the negotiators to consider and learn from the reality of the situation they experienced and the need to take serious steps to achieve a ceasefire.
