The dollar reaches more than 780 pounds in the parallel market

The exchange rate of the dollar against the pound jumped to more than 780 pounds in the parallel market, on Monday, while its price in banks reached 632 pounds. Currency traders, according to Radio Dabanga, said that there is a high demand movement for the dollar outside Sudan, which led to an unprecedented rise in its prices. They also noted the increased movement of travel outside the Sudan after the resumption of passport issuance. On the other hand, Bank of Khartoum announced on Monday the start of completing money transfers from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia for free using the “INJAZ easy” service through all electronic channels and service branches in the kingdom.
